CHIO Aachen 2025: More than 50 Mercedes-Benz for the World Equestrian Festival
In a few days’ time, everything will be revolving around horses and horsepower at the CHIO Aachen again. 10 days full of world-class sport lie ahead of us. Goosebump moments and big emotions – with the top stars from the show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving and vaulting disciplines. A long-standing partner is also on board again this year: Mercedes-Benz already became the official General Sponsor of the World Equestrian Festival in the year 1954 and has significantly co-shaped Germany’s biggest sports event ever since. The traditional partnership is not only reflected by the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup and the fact that the sponsor lends its name to the Mercedes-Benz Stand in the Main Stadium, but also shows its presence in the form of an exclusive shuttle service for the athletes and guests.
More than 50 vehicles in total are necessary to ensure the shuttle service runs perfectly. Matthias Hindemith now handed these over to Stefanie Peters, President of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. (ALRV), organisers of the event. The Chairman of the Rhineland subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz is awaiting the CHIO Aachen 2025 with trepidation: “It fills me with pride to be part of this continuous development. The CHIO Aachen is not only a highlight of the sport, but also a symbol of consistency and innovation,” stated Hindemith.
The automobile group, which will beyond this also present the luxurious image of the brand in the CHIO Village on exhibition space spanning 1,400 square metres with an exclusive selection of the product portfolio, is betting on a sustainable future and impresses with its environmentally-friendly solutions. This also pleases Stefanie Peters: “The CHIO Aachen is much more than a top-level sports event – it also lives from strong, long-standing partnerships. I am overjoyed that we can rely on the support of such a dedicated and reliable partner as Mercedes-Benz. Together we always succeed in finding future-oriented ways of continuing to write the show’s history.”
